Julian of Norwich (1342-1416) was a Benedictine mystic whose little cell I have visited in Norwich, Norfolk England.
An old sampler created by ancestor Eizabeth (nee Pennock) Leng, of Rake Farm, Glaisdale, in the North Riding of Yorkshire.
For several generations, my ancestors the Pennock family lived at Limber Hill, between Glaisdale and Egton, North Riding of Yorkshire. These derelict building may date to the 1600’s.
