Grandpa and Grandma Richardson lived here, in Eden Mills, ON, in the mid to 3/4 dates of the 19th C.

They were natives of North Yorkshire. Grandma Richardson (nee Esther Green) was the mother of James Green, father of my Dad's mother, Annie Alice Green. Confused yet? Ah, the addictive joys of genealogy.

Step-grandpa, Ralph Richardson, was a 'waggoner.' Later in life they removed to Rockwood, ON. The sign on the house is of a latter occupant, a blacksmith.
