Ephesus Amphitheatre
When the Apostle Paul came with his colleagues into Ephesus, they came in 'hot.' In short, he caused a riot. He told and showed a Gospel that was powerful and true - and lasting.
In this theatre, for around two hours, the populace shouted and chanted - 'Great is Diana of the Ephesians!' She was their goddess; her temple is now in ruins. Some of the immense pillars were taken to Constantinople and are still part of the ancient church, Haggia Sophia.
Diana. Hmmm. I wonder where she went.
