Different, and somehow one in same
Another day, ev'ning to follow
Another day, for good or ill.

We take it for granted, but really, there's no guarantee that we will get up on any given morning. Each day, every morning's dawning, is sheer gift — a resurrection.

Once again autumn has come to us. It is sheer gift. There is a moral aspect to it (as you will note below). I am always somewhat somber and sad as fall days unfold.

So quickly, the days of Summer speed by. And then it’s over. And then it’s Autumn.

Getting up and getting to it every day can often seem like a chore in itself, something not relished some mornings.

Relationships take time. Experience on experience, Days to months to years.
Investing, spending, building, growing, Some relationships become primary. Perhaps we’re not looking.

If we're just really busy running our churches - can we possibly have time and energy left to be missional ? Does one discount the other? . . .

What lies ahead in the dawn of each New Year? God only knows.
