Every late Summer, characters from the North and the South sides of the US Civil War gather for a reenactment weekend at Otterville, Ontario. Otterville is just south of Norwich, about 26 kilometres south of Woodstock. I captured some video segments a few years ago and spliced this movie together. I have a number of photos as well which I can send you if you'd like. This year (2015), the reenactment will be on the weekend of September 10 - 13.

An add says - Come on out for the 11th Annual Civil war reenactment held in beautiful Otterville, Ontario. Friday night supper for incoming reenactors will be hosted by the South Norwich Historical Society. Saturday evening dinner will be hosted by the 49th New York, company D. Saturday evening lantern tour. Fees for reenactors are $8.00 for those 16 and older before August 15. After this date, $10.00. The food booth will be on site Saturday and Sunday.
