My Great Uncle, Freeman Barber, was interred in the Avondale Cemetery, Guelph, ON - August 26th, 2016. I had the privilege of conducting the Committal Service. But the real story is how his misplaced cremated remains, found in an RV warehouse and brought to local authorities, were kept, carefully and reverently, by Murray and Susan Henry of Canandaigua, New York.
Interviews in Canada by radio and tv (CBC and CTV) at the gravesite, over the phone and in my home led to this being a Top News Story of the day. Many have been touched by it. I'm very grateful.
This video was prepared for broadcast by CTV Kitchener by reporter and videotographer, Victoria Levy. And is used with permission.
