I love this interview, which I've 'pointed to' on YouTube, produced by 'Fuller Studio' - a video in which Ireland's Bono (of the Ireland-based band, U2) and pastor, author and theologian Eugene Peterson, talk about their shared appreciation of each other's ministry and art - especially as expressed in and through their work and appreciation of the Old Testament Psalter (aka 'The Psalms).

Peterson has translated the essence of each psalm, working from the original Hebrew-language Scriptures, in his own 'work' - The Message. Bono, lead singer of the band U2 has written and sung songs suggested by particular Psalms, one of which was suggested to him, and through him to the world, in the words of Psalm 40.

I found the interview interesting, heartening and challenging. I have my own 'take-aways' from having viewed the video, which is about 20 minutes long. You'll surely have your own as you watch and listen.
