Winter is such a beautiful season. Yes it has its challenges, but then too, it has so much wonder - so much to enjoy, to discover.

And again - as English poet Percy Bysshe Shelley put it, 'If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

And my own thought - or maybe another way of putting it… Since Winter is also part of the Journey of Life (see grey hair and beard on my photo…. OK - ‘white’)... - 'You can’t really threaten Christians with Heaven.’

Maybe it’s true that the best is yet to come. I think so. ‘...And all manner of things will be well, wrote St Julian of Norwich.

Margaret Clarkson wrote a book that also inspires me in such thinking, in the midst of winter’s wild whiteness: — ‘Grace Grows Best in Winter.'
