The Body of Christ is comprised of all believers, each member an important part. And yet, we cannot function by ourselves. We need each other desparately. God has willed that we be joined together in Christ, becoming in fact His Body on earth - indwelled, inspired and enabled by His Spirit to be like Him and to do like Him.

The place that best examplifies and draws us - each diverse and several part, further into wholeness and oneness, is the Table of our Lord: the Eucharist or Holy Communion.
