I've never yet got there. I wish I had. Perhaps even in the autumn of my life; perhaps one day yet.

I listen to the music and the words; I note this profound community experience that has utterly transfixed and then transformed young people, especially - through the years. It gives me hope; I feel at rest, even in the quiet listening and reflecting, and in the feeling of the Presence of Another - of the Almighty.

Brother Roger of Taizé - Roger Schütz who would have been 100 in 2015, founded the Community of Taizé seventy-five years previously. 2015, also marks the tenth anniversary of his death.
