ALMIGHTY and most merciful Father; We have erred, and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts.

A prayer for Easter Morning and for each day after, as Easter People. Join me in prayer.

Jesus Christ a King of Glory has come in Peace.
God became man, the Word was made flesh.
Christ was born of a Virgin. Christ suffered. Christ was crucified.

We all want justice, but few of us want to be judged.
|
Followers of Jesus have the potential of - through prayer, pulling into the created world and order of things, an even greater Real - of the fullness of Life in what Jesus called God's Kingdom.

O Trinity of Love,
you have been with us at the world’s beginning;
be with us till the world’s end.
You have been with us at our life’s shaping;

The hymn writer William Cowper allowed that ‘God moves in a mysterous way, His wonders to perform.’ The doctrine of providence speaks of 'divinely ordained events and outcomes.’

Life is indeed hard - and harsh. All of at times are tempted to complain. Well, actually more than tempted . . . we do whinge and whine don't we? - not that it helps.

We want to share with others, through word and deed, in all the various ways in which the Good News of Jesus can be passed on to others.

When I was growing up, after supper Dad would say: ‘Get the Book.’ And then we’d pray.

Prayer is a mystery, but when we approach God, believing that He is - and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him, God hears and answers.

The origin of the word for ‘blessing’ in the ancient Semitic (including Hebrew), was in the root b-r-k.

I suppose there are some obvious ways of hiding God's Word within our hearts, as did the Psalmist. I would think it has to do with:

Sometimes you just don't know what to do next, which way to turn.
|
Prayer is talking to God, with God, connecting.
|
The path I walk, Christ walks it.
May the land in which I am be without sorrow.
May the Trinity protect me wherever I stay, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
