Many Bones Create Many Questions

Recently archaeologists in South Africa discovered early hominid fossils. The find is in a cave whose entrance upon is technically challenging. The paleoanthropological expedition had been going on for some time but news of the find was only released in September of 2015.

Homo Naledi is the name of the new 'species.'Naledi” means “star” in a local Sesotho language. Adult male and female bones along with the bones of children were found, suggesting family. “

Within a Christian perspective, antropology, the study of humankind, comes under the broader title of Theology. Creation and the Christian view of human origins is part of the discussion related to questions of - Who are we? Where did we come from? How did we get here? I do not believe that science and theology have to be at odds about such questions, though such finds stretches the discussion, and those discussing it, from both sides, as it ought to.
