The 'fruits' of one's life are on public display. We can discern to some degree the heart of an individual by what they say and do. Mostly what they 'do.' We produce and share from within, even when life comes at us in 360 degrees and more, and we have to process, accept, dismiss and integrate.

But 'from the heart' spring the attitudes and actions that others can see. We can fake it - but not for long, especially when with family, neighbours, friends and co-workers. We influence others by who we are, as expressed by how we live our lives before them.

It is uniquely true of apprentice-followers of Jesus (read 'disciples') that the 'fruit' of one's life can be positive, enriching, edifying and good.

And every virtue we possess,
And every victory won,
And every thought of holiness,
Are His alone.*

The Spirit of God, living and resonating within such 'believers' produces and reveals the life of Jesus.
